Our Mission

The mission of the Arizona Art Therapy Association is to educate about and advocate for art therapy.

Our Vision

The Arizona Art Therapy Association is an established resource for art therapists, community mental health members and providers. Art Therapy is understood as an independent profession comparable to social work and counseling. Our vision is to be an active resource for the community by strengthening public awareness of art therapy in Arizona.

THREE PRIORITIES

Education | Advocacy | Connection

Goal 1: Education

The provision of education opportunities within the field of art therapy for art therapy professionals as well as members of the mental health community.

• Set up meetings with providers in order to educate about art therapy
